Now in its 8th Edition, the festival “beer and Sound” it is imposed on the Salento as a moment of genuine attention to producing many breweries, in Italy and abroad, with an eye focused on the excellent gastronomy as well.

Maurizio Zecca, Director of Mebimport, a company dedicated to importing and distributing beer to Leverano (Lecce) for over twenty years, and the event organizer “beer and Sound”, recalled the many craft beer companies who will be attending, about thirty national brands, along with those of Europe and salentini, consecrate Leverano in the Centre of trade between breweries.
“As in Verona takes place annually one of the most prestigious wine fairs, it would be nice to be able to tie the name of Leverano to beers with this appointment,” said at a press conference just Z ecca.

This collaboration aims at the systematic recovery of agricultural land in Lecce for growing barley varieties intended for the production of top quality beers.
